Podiatry

What is a Podiatrist?

Podiatrists are the experts in foot and lower limb health. They are university trained health professionals who are able to investigate, diagnose and treat conditions affecting the feet, ankles, knees and hips. Clinical treatment provided by Podiatrists require precision use of sterilised instruments and high level infection control procedures. Podiatrists are also able to refer for a range of radiological investigations, including x-ray and ultrasound as required. All Podiatrists are registered under the Podiatry Board of Australia.
